You make me want to go to our eviction court. This is appalling. And it goes on without scrutiny. Homelessness creation on steroids.

It is a very enlightening experience to attend eviction hearings at small claims court, especially in an urban area like Indianapolis. The hearings are public and offer insight into the misery of losing your home.

One of the most notable things is how the landlord attorneys can seem so cozy with the courtroom and its staff. It makes sense when you consider how often they are at the particular court, but it adds to the feeling that they have an advantage with the courtroom and its staff.
