The sad thing is evictions represent one piece of the homelessness “puzzle” that seem to be escaping our collective responsibility. Skyrocketing rents, as you point out, contribute mightily. Childcare for those who need it most and can afford it least makes life almost impossible. Lack of health care. The list goes on and on. Needlessly. Kudos to those helping to stem the tide of disaster. Worse now than I’ve ever seen. I’d appreciate hearing something to counter my doom and gloom.
